This 2 day seminar was presented by Mr.
Taliesin Ellis, Director WoundHeal Australia, Fellow AWMA. Following on from
the successful 2007 series , this exciting 2 day program provided participants
with up to the minute knowledge of the science and art of wound management.
The series also incorporated "Product Corner" where the key sponsors discussed
their latest in product offerings and services. Additionally this year's seminars
included a practice workshop on assessing and planning
care for people with wounds.
Topics included:
Day One: The science behind the factors
influencing healing and how they impact on practice; approaches to nutrition and
how advanced wound therapies encourage healing, VAC workshop.
Day Two: Practical techniques,nutrition, implementing best practice and hands-on
workshop activities. Case studies demonstrating care outcomes and
