WoundHeal Australia Pty Ltd, KCI Medical (Platinum sponsor), Independence Solutions and Nestle Nutrition (co-sponsors) are joining forces to organise the next national seminar series to be presented throughout Australia during July, August, September, October and November, 2008.  The seminar series is designed to service the education needs of those involved in the care of all people with wounds - whether in acute settings, the community (GP’s, Pharmacists, Podiatrists community care clinics etc) or residential aged care . The topics are fresh and offer all participants the opportunity to avail themselves of up-to-the-minute thinking and practice applications in relation to all aspects of caring for a person with a wound.  Evidence, practice and key contemporary information is presented in a lively and practical manner ensuring the seminars represent true educational value.

This seminar series will continue to feature  "Product Corner" where key sponsors present their latest products and care offerings.  This will allow participants to engage the companies directly and gain greater insight into the latest products and their use. A new feature will be the "Assessment workshop" where participants will be guided through the planning and care process for people with complex wounds.

The seminars in series 1 and 2, 2007 were offered in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.  More than 300 people from a range of clinical backgrounds attended and evaluations rated the seminar content and presentation very highly

On a value scale of 1-10 (10 being highest value) all participants rated the seminars over 7, with the vast majority affording it a value rating of 9 or 10.  A key aspect to the success of the day was the presence of trade partners allowing the participants to discuss all products on display.
