Nursing Home Clinical Consultation

Tal Ellis can provide wound management (wound care) consultation for your residents direct to the nursing home. Drawing on 20 years of wound management experience, Tal can provide your residents with contemporary, evidence based care that leads to positive outcomes. Tal consults widely in South Australia and in other States and Territories. Capabilities

Caring for older people with a wound is a specialty area in wound management - particularly when the older person is living in a Residential Aged Care Facility or Nursing Home. Tal Ellis has an affinity for both this special client group and the Aged Care industry at large. This provides for the Nursing Home resident, their family and the facility to receive the best possible care and therefore the best possible outcomes.  When providing care to to the elderly client is important to realise that goal setting is a key aspect of management.  Tal can provide realistic care goals, practical plans for staff to follow, nutrition information, clear and concise documentation and a free phone follow up service for when the intervention period has ended.

WoundHeal Australia aims to provide the highest possible standard of care to the older person with a wound.

 - Timely, efficient and practical wound management services delivered to the resident in their home environment (i.e. Nursing Home, House etc)

 - Facilitation of a multi-disciplinary approach: liaison with GP's, Dieticians, Podiatrists, Medical Specialists,   Physiotherapists, Acute sector clinics, Pharmacists, Nutrition experts, Carers and a variety of institutions and community based services (RDNS, Home Nurses, CNSS)

Schedule of Fees:

 - Fees vary according to the service required. We would be pleased to discuss rates for service upon inquiry

 - For areas beyond 20 kms of the Adelaide metropolitan CBD (in South Australia) a travel fee of $1.00 per km applies
